The largest skating rink in Moscow
The bicentenary of the discovery of Antarctica will be the keynote of this winter season at VDNH. This winter, the Exhibition offers all its visitors the unique opportunity to visit the ice-covered continent.
According to the VDNH tradition, the skating rink is located on the Central Alley, between Central Pavilion No. 1 and Pavilion No. 58, Agriculture. Its skating lanes encircle the Friendship of Peoples and Stone Flower fountains. The total area of the rink exceeds 20,000 sq. m.
The skating rink is open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday, and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM on weekends. Closed for maintenance on Monday. The rink closes from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM daily to renew the ice surface.
Tickets are available online only. Those entitled to purchase tickets at a discount are to present their supporting documents at one of the VDNH's mobile information centres.
Visitors may be denied rink entry if they are not wearing face masks and gloves. All visitors will have their body temperature taken with a contact-free thermometer at the entrance. Follow the floor markings to observe the required social distancing of 1.5 metres inside the rental pavilions.
Rink staff will regulate the occupancy level of the rink, the food court and other areas. In the event that too many people are amassing in any area, entry may be temporarily restricted.
