Between 11 and 13 October, Pavilion No. 55 at VDNH will be used as a venue for RAAPA EXPO Autumn 2021, the 15th iteration of the international event in Moscow. As many as 100 Russian and foreign companies representing all key fields in the modern entertainment industry take part in the expo every year.
Over the course of these three days, the exhibition visitors will be able to examine and test out the latest slot machine models, VR amusement rides, equipment for parks, playgrounds and sports grounds, along with vending and prize machines. For the first time ever, RAAPA EXPO Autumn 2021 will present interactive curling equipment, which is completely unique in that it does not require an ice field and may be installed at any mall or amusement centre. Plus, the attendees will get a sneak peek of the artificial wave for surfing, along with new children’s playground models.
They will also be able to receive professional consultations on creating amusement centres and water parks, landscape and theme park design, festival management and staff training.
The expo will have a diverse business programme. CEOs and executives of the industry-leading enterprises will meet to brainstorm a range of differently scaled leisure concepts, from resort towns and local administrative centres to multimedia theme parks, including online operating options for amusement parks in times of pandemic. Among other items on the programme are: a conference titled Entertainment Business in a Changing Economic Environment: New Activity Directions and Development Tools, a round table titled New Models of Buying and Selling Amusement Rides and Entertainment Equipment, as well as seminars and business training sessions.
Every year, this expo is attended by industry professionals: owners and CEOs of parks, amusement centres, water parks, cinemas, retreats and health resort complexes; representatives of municipal administrations and authorities; event agencies; individual entrepreneurs; and other stakeholders.
RAAPA EXPO Autumn 2021 is continuing its tradition of being hosted at VDNH, not taking a break even for the pandemic. The expo forum will comply with all the applicable Rospotrebnadzor requirements. Visitors are required to wear face masks and maintain social distancing. For more information about the anti-COVID-19 measures currently in force at VDNH, please refer to the official website.
