Car Driver Day: 50% discount on the entry fee to the Museum of the Special Purpose Garage

The Museum of the Special Purpose Garage celebrates Car Driver Day on 31 October. Road transport workers' professional holiday is celebrated every year on the last Sunday in October.

To mark the holiday, the museum's entry tickets will be offered at 50% off. Open-air automobile shows and a free interactive activity for children, Draw a Motorcycle, are also in store for the visitors.

The Museum of the Special Purpose Garage of the Russian Federal Protective Service is a multifunctional museum and exhibition complex, a guardian of the history of the legendary institution and a centre for studying Russian and global automotive industry. The museum's official opening in 2021 coincided with the 100th anniversary of the Kremlin Garage.

Initially called Day of Motor Transport Workers, Car Driver Day was celebrated for the first time in 1976. Since the day it opened, Russia's Main Exhibition has served as a venue for celebrating the country's accomplishments in different industries, including the automotive industry. Here, leading car manufacturers have presented their latest technologies and models, and visitors get to travel around the territory in special vehicles.

In accordance with the decree of the Mayor of Moscow No. 61-UM dated 21 October 2021, museums and exhibition venues operate with restrictions. From 28 October until 7 November, museum visitors are required to present a QR code and wear a face mask.
