On the weekend, 2 and 3 April, the VDNH's pavilion No 57 will hold a specialised exhibition and fair—Gems Counter (Samotsvetny Razval). It will be attended by collectors of minerals, stone-cutting artists and jewellers from different regions of Russia.
The spring season of one of the largest mineralogical fairs in Russia is timed to coincide with Geologist's Day. The professional holiday is celebrated annually on the first Sunday of April.
Visitors to the Samotsvetny Razval will be able to get acquainted with different rocks, purchase minerals, natural faceted stones, jewellery and souvenirs made of them. The fair will be of interest to collectors and natural stone lovers, stone processing specialists and employees of geological museums, students and schoolchildren interested in the natural environment.
Opening times of the Samotsvetny Razval exhibition and fair at VDNH—on 2 and 3 April from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission—RUB 200, for the privileged categories of citizens—RUB 50. Tickets can be purchased during the opening hours of the event in pavilion No 57.
