The opening of the photo exhibition Projects of the Union State: from Brest to Rzhev... dedicated to Victory Day will be held in Pavilion 18, Republic of Belarus, at 12 p.m. on April 28.
In 2020, two important Union State projects were completed – the restoration and museification of Brest Fortress and the creation of the Rzhev Memorial. The implementation of these projects was a landmark event for Belarus and Russia in countering attempts to falsify history and preserve the memory of our ancestors' deeds.
In conjunction with the Memorial Complex Brest Hero Fortress, JSC Belarusian Trade and Exhibition and Information and Marketing Center took the initiative to create the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, the publishing house Komsomolskaya Pravda and the socio-political newspaper Soyuz. Belarus–Russia photo exhibition Projects of the Union State: from Brest to Rzhev..., the main purpose of which is to popularize the activities and achievements of the Union State.
The event will be attended by representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, the Eurasian Economic Commission, ministries and departments, museums of Belarus and Russia, autonomous nationalities of Belarusians in Russia, veterans, as well as the creative intelligentsia and the media.
The exhibition will be held in Pavilion 18 from April 28 to June 22, 2022.
