VDNH invites you to Green City, a festival of flowers and eco-products. It will be held from April 15 to 17 on the Main Alley of VDNH near the Stone Flower Fountain. For three days, Muscovites and guests of the capital will be able to peruse and purchase natural products, plants for the garden and home, and organic cosmetics.
More than 80 Russian brands will take part in the festival. Among the exhibitors are farmers, cheese makers, and bakers whose products cannot be found in chain stores. The family farm of Sergey Lyashenko in Pushkinsky District and the Gzhel Farmstead in Ramensky District will present artisanal cheeses, cottage cheese, butter, sour cream, and yoghurt from the milk of their own cows and goats. Ulyanka's workshop will bring cotton candy from Sergiev Posad, a local delicacy with various flavours, prepared according to an old family method. Barbarum health food brand will present granola baked according to unique recipes, and the company Master Cities will offer halva and unusual desserts made of hemp. Also taking part in the festival will be such companies as Sausage Station, Everything at Home, M2 Organic Group, Taste of Paradise, IZH.Berry, and Boss Berry.
In anticipation of the May holidays and the cottage season, you can buy plants for the garden and home at Green City. The Strelkov family nursery will present a large selection of conifers adapted to central Russia, domesticated citrus, fruit and berry trees and shrubs. Elgarden Greenhouse Farm will bring annual and perennial plants grown in their own open and protected areas. Expert breeders from Hydrangea Nursery RF, the Garden Institute of Siberia and GenRosta will describe how to properly care for hydrangeas, roses, marigolds and other flowers. You will get the chance to upgrade your home and cottage accessories at the stands of Onyx, Dachnye Shtuchki and Ekodachnik.
Lovers of natural cosmetics are also welcome at the festival. You can buy creams made of plants, pine nuts, vitamin ointments and serums and home care products made without harm to animals or the environment.
The Green City Festival will be held on April 15, 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.
