Spring Issue of 'At VDNH' Available Online and at Information Stands

1 march 2021

On 1 March, a new Spring Issue of the At VDNH magazine was released. The 15th issue dedicated to this spring's events is available now at information stands. As always, those who prefer to read online can find the issue on our website.

The traditional Events heading describes the most important and interesting activities for the next three months: the start of a new exhibition at VDNH Museum and the launch of an educational programme for Year of Space in Russia, and the opening of new pavilions. The column highlights all new events this spring: Soyuzmultpark pavilion, Moscow Transport Museum and Museum of the Special Purpose Garage of the Federal Security Service of Russia.

The issue's centrepiece features the Navigator column. It covers the architectural landmarks that have gained a modern interpretation as part of the VDNH restoration programme. From the article, you will learn how the Exhibition has changed over the years and how historical pavilions and fountains were renovated at different times. Both archival and modern photos are featured.

The Green Exhibition section shows where VDNH's most extraordinary and lovely plants are found. The Flower Calendar, compiled exclusively for the magazine's spring issue, shows what flowers—common and rare—decorate the Exhibition's alleys and public gardens from April to August.

The air not only smells different in spring, but tastes change as well—you naturally want something new, fresh and exciting. Check the Food column to see where you can grab a small snack or a full lunch, whether you prefer traditional or experimental cuisine.

The new column My VDNH features an interview with a regular participant of educational and concert programmes: producer and screenwriter Vasily Zorky. He discusses how he got to know the Exhibition and what it means to him now.

Another new column is Lend Colour to VDNH!, where you can learn about the Exhibition's creative architecture. The column includes colouring pages, and you are free to colour them as you choose. The issue is decorated with one of the best views of the Exhibition: Main Entrance Arch and Central Alley.

If you need to quickly find your way around the exhibition complex and find pavilions of interest, recreational zones and cafés, use the VDNH general map. Visitors from abroad can find information in English on the spring's key events at VDNH in the special Enjoy VDNH section.

At VDNH is published four times a year and is available for free at VDNH at hotels and our partners' offices.
