Dear Visitors, the following parts of the Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre will be closed to the public on weekdays from 25 May to 11 June due to technical issues: KB-3. Cosmodrome of the Future and Sfera cinema. Ticket prices for the Centre will be reduced 50% on those days.
Section KB-3. Cosmodrome of the Future and Sfera cinema will be closed for maintenance on 25–28 May, 1–4 June and 8–11 June. Regular tickets will cost RUB 250 and discounted tickets, RUB 125 on those days. Regular tickets will also be available for RUB 200 each, after an extra discount of 20% when you pay with your Mir card.
Free admission during the 'happy hours' will continue to apply on weekdays. Admission is available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The number of tickets is limited. Free tickets are only available at the Centre's ticket offices.
The Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre opened in the renovated Pavilion No. 34 Cosmos on 12 April 2018. The Centre's opening was an important milestone in VDNH's comeback. The Centre offers a sprawling exposition on the achievements of Soviet and Russian cosmonautics and future space exploration projects.
Anti-coronavirus measures continue to apply in VDNH museums and exhibition spaces. Visitors at the Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre are expected to wear face masks and gloves and observe a social distancing prescription of 1.5 to 2 m.
