The Museum of Cinema, located in Pavilion No. 36, has launched a special promotional campaign for guests planning to visit the history of cinema exposition in June. A special rate of RUB 1 per ticket is being offered every Monday.
This summer in the Museum of Cinema offer is available on 7, 14, 21 and 28 June. It applies to two showings: from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Currently, the Museum of Cinema offers two permanent expositions (Labyrinth of History and Sergei Eisenstein's Study) as well as three temporary exhibits (the 20/21 Anniversary Project, Lida Bordelli, Theatre and Cinema Actress, The Museum of Cinema in Film Strips). The pavilion houses storage facilities, six exhibition areas, a scientific and educational centre and three screening rooms. The museum's exhibits include costumes, photographs, ads, posters, slide films, rare books, filming and photographic equipment and personal belongings of prominent Russian filmmakers since the late 19th century.
Admission to all the exhibitions is included in the ticket price.
