Jazz, music by Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi and piano-rock: concerts in the greenhouse at VDNH

The summer season concerts continue in the greenhouse of VDNH's historic Pavilion No. 14 Republic of Azerbaijan. The schedule for the upcoming week features a performance by duet of jazz divas Eteri Beriashvili and Liana Meister, music from the world-famous Italian neoclassical composer Ludovico Einaudi and a show from the band Zero People dedicated to the band's 10th anniversary. The events will follow all Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection) recommendations.

On Thursday, 10 June at 9:00 p.m., the ambient greenhouse will host a show by the MaisterBeri Sisters, a colourful performance from Eteri Beriashvili and Liana Meister, highly skilled synchronised singers. Their repertoire includes jazz, soul, pop-folk, chanson and Yiddish pop. The Berry Sisters' Songs programme includes timeless pieces like Hava Nagila, Tum Balalaika etc. These songs, which are more than 100 years old, still sound extremely relevant.

On Friday, 11 June at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m., Simple Music Ensemble chamber music studio will play two concerts featuring music from the world-famous neoclassical composer Ludovico Einaudi, who made more than 20 albums as well as the soundtracks for such motion pictures as 1+1 , Black Swan by Darren Aronofsky, I'm Still Here and Mommy by Xavier Dolan. During their live performances, the Simple Music Ensemble make use of unique acoustic and electronic instruments.

The concert week will end in Pavilion No. 14 on 13 June, Sunday. At 9:00 p.m., Zero People will present their Best Tour show, dedicated to the band's 10th anniversary, and present their new album The Best: The Obvious. Every performance by the band is a sort of revelation, whether they're playing chamber acoustic pieces in a club or putting on a performance on the theatrical stage. They play their piano-rock and sing revelatory lyrics to packed venues. In VDNH's greenhouse, guests will hear pieces from Zero People's albums Beauty and End of Equilibrium, which have topped Russian charts, as well as some of the band's new pieces.
