The Fairy Tales Theatre to put on performances for children who are hearing impaired

8 june 2021

On 30 May, the Fairy Tales Theatre put on an interactive performance for children with impaired hearing. The event received very positive feedback, so the country's main exhibition is now determined to hold such events regularly. The next performances have now been scheduled for 20 June.

Children with impaired hearing will be able to attend special performances on the third Sunday of every month. The next performances will be put on 20 June at 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. A sign language interpreter will be present during the performances.

Viewers will be shown a new interactive multimedia show entitled Fairy Tale Trip Around the World. The new exciting show will take the viewers on a virtual trip across the five continents. The audience will be given gamified insights into the geography, florae and faunae, as well as rich cultural heritage of many different nations.

What's different about the performances is that the children take part in them directly, interacting with the protagonists and completing tasks with them. Recommended age: 3 to 10

There is a limited number of seating and admission to each event opens 10 minutes before starting. Tickets can be procured from the ticket offices of the information centre and the theatre on any day.

Due to public health restrictions, the theatre's seating is currently limited to 50% of capacity. Children can sit on beanbags and parents on the soft benches. Inside the theatre, visitors are required to observe social distancing and wear face masks and gloves. The performance uses no-contact animation.
