15 june 2021

The Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre is hosting an exhibition of space-related banners submitted to the Gagarin Design Awards 2021, a graphic design competition dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the first manned space flight.

From 16 June to 16 July, visitors to the Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre at VDNH can see the 50 best banners submitted to the competition which started on 12 April 2021. The exhibition will showcase works by graphic designers, illustrators, photographers and university students majoring in graphic design and photography.

Banners to be featured at the exhibition contain such inspiring titles like First Forever, One Moment, Dedication to Gagarin!, Trailblazer, 60 Years in Space, Road to Space, Let's Go! and Learning to Fly.

Anyone aged 16 or older is welcome to take part in the competition. The only condition is that contestants may only submit their own works and projects cannot contain copyright violations.

Winners will be selected by a jury on 25 June 2021, and on 12 July an award ceremony will be held at VDNH's Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre.
