On 17 June, Belinda Davis and the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra will perform at VDNH's Green Theatre. The programme will include hit songs formerly performed by US singer Whitney Houston. Admission is by ticket only. The concert was originally planned to take place on VDNH's Square of Industry.
Unfortunately, owing to the COVID-19 situation, the performance has been moved to VDNH's Green Theatre. The show is entitled Dedication to Whitney Houston: I Will Always Love You, and will take place at 9:00 p.m. on 17 June. The change of venue was made to ensure compliance with recent COVID-19 restrictions. However, the show will be continue as planned.
Performers include Belinda Davis and Moscow's Russian Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Italian conductor Roberto Molinelli. The programme includes covers of such hits as I Will Always Love You, I Have Nothing and Run to You from the movie Bodyguard, along with Queen of the Night, When You Believe, I'm Your Baby Tonight and I Wanna Dance with Somebody. Belinda's four-octave voice and unsurpassed vocal prowess are a perfect match for the legendary Whitney Houston numbers.
All tickets previously purchased are still valid. The organisers have made arrangements to preserve the same seating categories as specified on the original tickets to the Green Theatre. Tickets can be purchased online.
The organisers guarantee that occupancy will not exceed 50% capacity and that social distancing and other sanitary requirements will be adhered to reduce the probability of the spread of COVID-19. All guests will be offered masks and gloves upon entering the venue.
