On 15 July 2021, on World Youth Skills Day, high school and college students are invited to take a fun walk around Russia's main exhibition. VDNH IQ-Walk and Amp Yourself Up at VDNH are two quests that will help young visitors to learn the history of VDNH and engage in some outdoor activities. Those who subsequently prove themselves to be the top experts on the exhibition will get free tickets to the VDNH museums.
On 15 July, at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., intellectual VDNH IQ-walks will start. The creators of the quiz will ask ten questions about the history, architecture and current reality of the exhibition. The participants will analyse the decorative symbolism of the pavilions and recall movie and literary characters associated with VDNH. Attendance is free by prior registration.
On 15 July, at 6:00 p.m., the Amp Yourself Up at VDNH quest will begin. The participants will split up into teams and try to identify VDNH sites, such as fountains and pavilions, from photos of parts of them. They will walk around the exhibition on their own looking for answers. The young people will face other equally exciting challenges such as creating an anagram or solving a mathematical problem. Attendance is subject to prior registration.
This year, VDNH is, for the first time, celebrating World Youth Skills Day. The idea of the holiday coincides with one of the exhibition's top priorities: helping the youth to develop their gifts and talent. As a platform for sharing best practices, Russia's main exhibition has always attracted high school and colleges students as well as entry-level professionals. The alleys and pavilions used to host youth festivals, exhibitions and celebrations. This tradition is still alive at VDNH.
The number of participants in each quest should not exceed 25.
