Space Digest at VDNH: a new talk

18 august 2021

The VDNH Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre has a new Space Digest event in store for its visitors on 22 August 2021. Space Digest is a new format for talks with experts, practised since last June. Denis Prudnik, space science communicator and chair of the Youth Board of the Russian Space Society, communicates with the digest subscribers every month, introducing the latest relevant news and answering questions.

The new Space Digest event will take place at the venue of the Roboschool Youth Centre for Creative Innovation at 4 p.m. on 22 August. Denis Prudnik and his audience will discuss the Chinese space station and the Russian multifunctional Nauka lab module, launched towards the International Space Station in July.

Prudnik will also speak about the launch, in June 2021, of another Progress cargo transport to the ISS, and the upcoming launch, scheduled on 20 August, of a Soyuz-2.1b spaceship with UK-made OneWeb spacecraft on board. Those in attendance will also discuss preparations for the launch of a new ISS module, Prichal (Landing Dock), and other matters of relevance.

Space Digest is part of project Knowledge. VDNH. Attendance is free by prior registration. The number of attendees may not exceed 40, and the age limit is 12+.
