The ecosystems exposition
The ecosystems exposition is found in the Botanical Nature section of the Landscape Park and is intended to let people study the flora while taking leisurely strolls.
The environmental garden located on the shore of the pond will let you take a tour through the world of botany. While walking down the paths there you get to see plants from a broad range of ecosystems: mixed forests, meadow herbs in open spaces, as well as plants growing near water.
Mixed forests, a symbiosis of coniferous and deciduous trees, as well as shrubs. This type of ecosystem is regarded as the most resilient as the various species of plants in it complement each other.
In order to create a traditional shoreline landscape along the pond, a mixture of perennials has been planted there. Many of these plants occur in natural conditions along the shores and in shallow parts of ponds, lakes and rivers.
