On 1 April, bicycle rental points began to operate at VDNH. Visitors to the Exhibition can rent one-, two-, four-seaters, children's velomobiles, as well as ordinary adult and children's bicycles and scooters.
The first bicycle rental points at VDNH opened near the Main Entrance Arch, near the Northern and Southern loops of the Ring Road. VDNH offers 500 bicycles of modern models, 200 velomobiles and 50 scooters. The cost of one-hour rent starts from RUB 350 for an adult's bicycle and from RUB 200 for a children's one. The cost of renting a velomobile is from RUB 400 for 30 minutes. An ordinary scooter for an hour can be rented for RUB 250. Knee pads, elbow pads and a helmet are free of charge. It is necessary to leave a cash deposit or identity document. Rental points will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
In mid-April, bicycle rental points will open on Ring Road next to pavilions—No 8 Young Technicians and No 44 Krolikovodstvo (Cuniculture). It is planned that the points will be open until the onset of cold weather.
The rental of recreational vehicles is one of the most in-demand services of VDNH. For the convenience of guests on bicycles, scooters, roller skates and skateboards, there is a special path along the Ring Road, its length is about 10 km.
On 18 March 2022, VDNH has opened 49 points of electric scooter rental, during this time, visitors have made more than 10,000 rides.
