Historical background
The pavilion served as a Soyuzpechat press kiosk for about 20 years. In the 1990s, the building fell into disrepair and was closed.
Current state
The pavilion underwent a major renovation which saw its architectural centrepiece, the two-storey stained-glass window, reconstructed.
Pavilion No. 515 is located in the southern part of the Exhibition, where an all-season amusement park is planned. It is very close to Central Alley and VDNH's main historic pavilions. A café is planned in the pavilion.
Pavilion No. 515 was built in 1973 and served as a press kiosk for about 20 years. The kiosk offered a wide selection of periodicals and books to Exhibition visitors. In the 1990s, the building fell into disrepair and was closed.
The VDNH revival project gave the building a new lease on life. The pavilion underwent a major renovation which saw its architectural centrepiece, the two-storey stained-glass window, reconstructed. The building is equipped with all utilities and is ready for use.
